La reine Christine de Suède entra à Rome dans la grande cavalcade par la célèbre Porta Flaminia sur la Piazza del Popolo le 23 décembre 1655. Il lui fallut se retourner pour voir la plaque commémorative que le Bernin avait placée sur la façade à la demande du pape Alexandre VII : FELICI FAVSTO Q(UE) INGRESSVI ANNO DCMMDCCLV (pour une entrée heureuse et prospère, en 1655). Sur la gravure : la procession de la Porta Flaminia à la Basilique Saint-Pierre. La reine Christine à cheval au deuxième rang, à gauche du centre sous le numéro 34.
