La sculpture intitulée "Eau et Soleil" a été créée en 1988 par l'artiste hollandais Nic Jonk. La statue a été placée dans le Parco della Rocca.
Nicolaas "Nic" Jonk (Grootschermer, 11 juillet 1928 - Alkmaar, 11 octobre 1994) était un artiste visuel néerlandais, surtout connu pour ses images voluptueuses de scènes mythologiques, de femmes et d'animaux. Il a également été actif en tant que graphiste, peintre et créateur de bijoux.
Il y a des statues de Nic Jonk dans environ 200 endroits de l'espace public des Pays-Bas. Son travail est également présent dans des lieux publics en Belgique, en Allemagne, en Italie, à Curaçao et aux États-Unis.
