Probablement construit vers le 14ème siècle . L'église a été restaurée au XVIe siècle.
En 1604, elle fut affectée à la confrérie de S. Lorenzo et en 1761 à celle de S. Barnaba . La seule chose qui a été désacralisée en 1897 est la façade avec un portail médiéval en tuf et une petite fenêtre ronde au-dessus du portail.
