La Citadelle à 's-Hertogenbosch est un ancien fort. Ce fort a été construit entre 1637 et 1645.
Un des surnoms de la Citadelle est La Lunette des Prêtres. Ce nom est dû au fait qu'elle devait surveiller les catholiques de 's-Hertogenbosch.
À l'endroit où la Citadelle a été construite, se trouvaient au 14e et 15e siècle des maisons, ainsi que la Porte d'Orthen qui se tenait au Bastion d'Orthenpoort. Cette porte date de la période entre 1315 et 1350. La construction de cette porte avait rendu la Porte de Bruxelles superflue.
La citadelle était un fort avec cinq bastions. La construction du fort a commencé peu après la prise de la ville en 1629.
