La Maison Rouge est une ancienne prison située sur l'Oude Gracht à Veenhuizen. Depuis le 1er janvier 2012, le ministère de la Justice a transféré le complexe à l'Office des Bâtiments de l'État. Le musée de la prison peut organiser des visites guidées dans La Maison Rouge tant que la prison est vide. Le complexe a également été utilisé pour le tournage de la série télévisée Overspel, du film Pietje Bell 2 La chasse à la couronne impériale et de la série YouTube Het Jachtseizoen.
