Terborg est une petite ville de l'Achterhoek qui fait partie de la commune d'Oude IJsselstreek (jusqu'en 2005 : commune de Wisch), dans la province néerlandaise de Gelderland. Terborg comptait début 2008 4 529 habitants. Terborg est située à environ 7 kilomètres au sud-est de Doetinchem et borde Gaanderen au nord, Etten à l'ouest et Silvolde au sud. Terborg dispose d'une gare, sur la ligne de chemin de fer Arnhem - Winterswijk. Terborg est située sur l'Oude IJssel. Au centre de la ville se trouve le château de Wisch. Au sud-est se trouve la zone naturelle de Paasberg. Terborg a reçu des droits de ville en 1419. Le saint patron de la ville est Saint Georges.
