Ulft est un village situé dans la commune néerlandaise d'Oude IJsselstreek, dans la province de Gueldre. En 2009, le village comptait 10 700 habitants.L'histoire d'Ulft commence en 1236 avec un château: le Slot Ulft disparu depuis longtemps. Le château entouré de douves était situé au confluent de l'Oude IJssel et de la AA. Le château avait un moulin à eau, qui était utilisé comme moulin à farine. Ulft a commencé à se développer en tant que village à la fin du XVIe siècle. À partir de 1850, Ulft s'est développé assez rapidement, surtout après 1947.
