VV Appingedam était un club de football amateur fondé le 8 mai 1919 à Appingedam, province de Groningue, Pays-Bas. Les matches à domicile se jouaient au "Burgemeester Wellemansportpark". Ce parc sportif était partagé avec le voisin VV De Pelikanen.
Après que durant la saison 2014/15 les juniors A, B et C de "VV Appingedam" et "De Pelikanen" aient joué sous l'égide de SJO DVC en compétition, à partir de 2015/16, toutes les équipes de jeunes des deux clubs ont joué dans cette formation de jeunesse collaborative. Les deux clubs ont fusionné le 1er juillet 2017 pour devenir DVC Appingedam.
