VV Appingedam era un club di calcio amatoriale fondata l'8 maggio 1919 ad Appingedam, nella provincia di Groningen, Paesi Bassi. Le partite casalinghe si svolgevano al "Burgemeester Wellemansportpark". Questo impianto sportivo era condiviso con il vicino VV De Pelikanen.
Dopo che nella stagione 2014/15 gli juniores A, B e C di "VV Appingedam" e "De Pelikanen" hanno partecipato alle competizioni sotto la bandiera di SJO DVC, a partire dalla stagione 2015/16 tutte le squadre giovanili di entrambi i club hanno gareggiato in questo programma di formazione giovanile collaborativa. Entrambi i club si sono fusi il 1° luglio 2017 per diventare DVC Appingedam.
