La forêt de Rijster est une forêt près de Rijs dans le Gaasterland, au sud-ouest de la province néerlandaise de Frise. La forêt de feuillus, gérée par It Fryske Gea, couvre 172 hectares et se situe entre le lac IJsselmeer et le village de Rijs. La forêt a été créée au XVIIe siècle comme une forêt de bois de chauffage par une famille de régents d'Amsterdam, les De Wildt. Ceux-ci résidaient dans la maison qu'ils avaient construite, Huize Rijs, également connue sous le nom de château dans le langage courant. Le jardin aménagé autour du château faisait également partie de la forêt de Rijster. Du côté sud-est de la forêt se trouve la polder de Séfonster.
