Defqon.1 est un festival de musiques électroniques, principalement axé hardstyle et techno hardcore, annuellement organisé depuis 2003 par Q-dance aux Pays-Bas. Il s'agit d'un événement de grande ampleur partagée entre activités et animations grandioses et pyrotechnie. De nombreux effets de lumières sont utilisés au cours du festival, dont les disc-jockeys se répartissent sur différentes scènes identifiées par une couleur selon le type de musique et ainsi simultanément. Ces disc-jockeys, habituellement de renom, participant au festival incluent notamment Zany, The Prophet, Showtek, Darkraver, Technoboy, DJ Isaac, Zatox, Scot Project, D-Block & S-Te-Fan, Promo, Yoji Biomehanika, Psyko Punkz, Frontliner, Coone, Dr Peacock,Wildstylez, et Headhunterz.
