Ce domaine a pris sa forme actuelle au 17ème siècle. Il a été habité par des familles nobles et bourgeoises riches de Maastricht. Après l'aménagement d'un parc dans un style paysager anglais, il a été la propriété de la célèbre famille Regout de Maastricht pendant un certain temps. Le parc a une superficie totale de 18,5 hectares et a été restauré dans son style d’origine en 1994. Le jardin est une zone naturelle protégée et fait partie de la forêt voisine de Kelmonderbos. La maison n'est pas accessible, mais elle est visible depuis le parc ouvert.
