Les mines de silex de Rijckholt ou Gros Atelier sont un complexe de mines situé à Rijckholt, où du silex a été extrait durant le néolithique. Cela s'est produit entre 3950 av. J.-C. et 2650 av. J.-C. Le silex était utilisé pour fabriquer des armes et des objets utilitaires. Les mines de silex sont la plus ancienne forme connue de minières aux Pays-Bas. Les mines de silex se trouvent dans le Savelsbos à la limite du plateau de Margraten. Un peu plus au nord se trouvent la Schone Grub avec les petites mines de silex Schone Grub, l'Abri de Rijckholt et la Henkeput. La recherche sur ces mines est un bon exemple d'archéologie minière.
