La brasserie le Wit Anker a été fondée en 1780 et a cessé ses activités en 1901 (121 ans d'activité)
Le bâtiment a été construit en 1780 (Maison avec '''Brasserie le Wit Anker''').
Certains brasseurs ont été successivement : 1843 : A.A. van de Burgh ; 1848 : J.A. van Aken ; 1863 : W. Ebeling ; 1874-1885 : J. Verfürth & co et le dernier brasseur de 1889 à 1901 : N. van Mierlo.
Maison "Den Anker" ancienne brasserie. Façade datant de 1780 avec encadrements de porte et de portail, portes avec riches dessus de porte, corniche avec consoles et festons. Escalier en stuc, balustrade d'escalier sculptée. À l'avant, le bâtiment a encore la forme d'une maison, à l'arrière, il a été agrandi avec un bureau moderne,
Le bâtiment a été inscrit sur la liste des monuments en 1966.
