La Hollandershoeve est le premier Boertel dans les Kempen. Un Boertel offre des installations hôtelières entièrement bien entretenues dans une ferme. Tous les agriculteurs avec des possibilités d'hébergement ne peuvent pas se qualifier de Boertel. Il doit être respecté des règles garantissant une haute qualité des services en matière d'hébergement et de petit-déjeuner.
