L'ancienne gare de Bosch en Duin était située sur le tracé de l'ancienne ligne de chemin de fer Bilthoven - Zeist. La gare a été fermée en 1941, lors de la fermeture temporaire de la ligne. Après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, la ligne a été remise en service, mais uniquement pour le transport de marchandises.
La ligne de chemin de fer a été démantelée, mais à l'emplacement de l'ancienne gare se trouvait encore un ancien wagon de la ZHESM. Le wagon était encore habité en juin 2005, et en avril 2015, il a été démoli, des pièces réutilisables ayant été retirées. Le wagon circulait autrefois sur la ligne Hofplein, inaugurée en 1908, un service ferroviaire électrique entre Rotterdam et Scheveningen.
