La caserne Van Ghent est une caserne du Corps des Marines située au Toepad 120 dans le quartier Kralingen de Rotterdam. La construction de la caserne a débuté en 1940, bien que la première pelle ait été plantée dans le sol en 1938 ; la plupart des entreprises de construction trouvaient qu'il était trop risqué de s'engager dans un si grand projet de construction à cette époque incertaine. Seul le squelette en béton avait été coulé lorsque l'occupation allemande a éclaté et que la construction a dû être interrompue. Le Corps a cessé d'exister. Juste après la guerre, la construction a été reprise et en 1946, la caserne a été achevée, permettant au Corps de revenir à Rotterdam.
