Le Théâtre Shakespeare de Gdańsk est un nouveau bâtiment théâtral, construit d'après le modèle de l'historique Théâtre Shakespeare Globe de Londres, conçu par l'architecte vénitien Renato Rizzi. L'inauguration a eu lieu le 19 septembre 2014. Le projet a été soutenu par la Fondation Theatrum Gedanense depuis le 20 février 2008. Les travaux de construction ont commencé le 5 mars 2011. L'édification a eu lieu sous le patronage du prince Charles, héritier du trône britannique, et du lauréat du prix Nobel de littérature Günter Grass.
