Le Monastère de Sainte-Claire de Coimbra se trouve sur la rive gauche du fleuve Mondego, dans la freguesia de Santa Clara, à la ville, municipalité et district de Coimbra, au Portugal. Il représente un moment d'expérimentation du style gothique dans le pays. La fondation, à la fin du XIIIe siècle, s'inscrit dans une conjoncture d'influence et d'acceptation progressive de l'Ordre des Frères Mineurs à la cour et dans la société portugaise en général.
