La proprietà Bad Volderwildbad si trova nella Voldertal, una piccola valle laterale della Valle dell'Inn tirolese nelle Alpi Tux, a 1104 metri di altitudine ed è una frazione del comune di Volders. È stato gestito fino alla chiusura come "Alpengasthof, bagno e pensione".
Il vecchio insediamento era un luogo di caccia dei signori tirolesi ed è stato menzionato per la prima volta in un documento nel 1463. Il barone Damian Genger costruì una cappella barocca nel 1625, dedicata ai santi medici Cosma e Damiano. L'importanza di Volderwildbad come stabilimento termale è stata lodata nel 1756 in una cronaca. A volte era anche chiamato "Bagno del Giovane Fonte". Massimiliano I, l'ultimo cavaliere, e il capo contadino Josef Speckbacher erano tra gli ospiti famosi. Nel 1919, la pensione Volderwildbad con segheria e agricoltura fu acquisita da Josef Fink.
