La meta di questa tappa è Kufstein, storica cittadina sull'Inn celebre per la sua imponente fortezza. Il tracciato conduce attraverso maestosi pascoli d'alta quota toccando diversi rifugi e malghe dove fare una sosta (da non perdere il Kiachl, frittella tradizionale tirolese, servito ogni sabato alla malga Brentenjochalm!). Tra le tante meraviglie paesaggistiche tutt'attorno si consiglia di dare un'occhiata anche a bordo sentiero: nel Kaisergebirge, infatti, crescono quasi mille specie diverse di fiori. Particolarmente piacevole è anche la discesa "salvaginocchia" per l'escursionista che, felice ma stanco dopo un'intensa giornata nella natura, decide di scendere a Kufstein, nella frazione di Sparchen, con la seggiovia del Wilder Kaiser.
