La Torre della Vergine o come chiamata localmente Giz Galasi è ubicata nella Città Vecchia di Baku in Azerbaigian ed è un'antica torre che ha affinità culturali con la presenza in loco di Zoroastriani, Sassanidi, Arabi, Persiani, Shirvani, Ottomani e Russi. Costruita nel XII secolo, come parte della Città Vecchia, la Torre della Vergine, assieme al Palazzo degli Shirvanshah del XV secolo, costituisce un complesso di monumenti storici dichiarati nel 2000 dall'UNESCO come Patrimonio dell'umanità e catalogati nella categoria iii. Costituisce uno dei monumenti più noti dell'Azerbaigian ed è rappresentata sulle banconote da 10 manat.
La Torre della Vergine ospita un museo che narra l'evoluzione della storia della città di Baku. Dalla terrazza posta alla sua sommità si ha una visione panoramica sulla Città Vecchia, il Baku Boulevard, la casa di De Gaulle e un'ampia panoramica sulla Baia di Baku. In tempi recenti, il braciere posto sulla sua cima è stato acceso durante le notti del Festival di Novruz.
