Il Forte di Dave è una delle nove fortificazioni costruite come parte dei rinforzi di Namur alla fine del XIX secolo in Belgio. Fu costruito tra il 1888 e il 1892 secondo i piani del generale Henri Alexis Brialmont. A differenza dei forti francesi costruiti nello stesso periodo da Raymond Adolphe Séré de Rivières, il forte è stato realizzato esclusivamente in calcestruzzo non trattato, un nuovo materiale, invece che in muratura. Nel 1914 il forte fu pesantemente bombardato dall'artiglieria tedesca durante la Battaglia di Namur. Dave fu modernizzato negli anni '30 per far parte della posizione fortificata di Namur nel tentativo di sventare o ritardare un attacco dalla Germania. Entrò in azione nel 1940 durante la Battaglia del Belgio e fu occupato dalle truppe tedesche. Il forte è ora abbandonato ed è di proprietà statale.
