Visé si trova su entrambi i lati della Mosa. La città confina in parte con il comune olandese di Eijsden, con la Mosa come fiume di confine tra di loro.
A Visé si trova la chiesa di Sant Martin e Hadelinus, risalente all'VIII secolo. Nel 1338 le reliquie di San Hadelinus sono state trasferite dalla chiesa di Celles a Visé. Il reliquiario è stato restaurato tra il 1972 e il 1974 ed è tornato nella chiesa di Visé. Ogni terza domenica di settembre si svolge qui la processione di Hadelinus.
