Winksele è un ex comune nella provincia di Brabante Fiammingo. Dal 1133 Winksele è menzionata in diversi documenti come villaggio. Fino al 1977, Winksele, insieme al villaggio di Delle, era un comune autonomo, dopodiché divenne una frazione di Herent. Winksele non deve essere confusa con Wilsele, una frazione vicina della città di Leuven. Winksele si trova a due 'montagne' di distanza dalle antiche mura della città di Leuven: il Calvario e l'IJzerenberg.
