Cristal Alken è una birra pilsener creata nel maggio 1928 in Belgio da Jozef Indekeu ed Edouard Boes ad Alken. Oggi la birra viene prodotta nella Birreria Limburg di Alken. Al momento della fondazione di Cristal, molti birrai belgi non erano ancora in grado di produrre birra a bassa fermentazione, il che ha fatto sì che il prodotto fosse accolto come rivoluzionario. Jozef Indekeu, Edouard Boes e la loro famiglia di birrai hanno posto le basi della produzione di pils belghe. Il marchio è diventato la pils più conosciuta del Limburg, ma è anche distribuito ben oltre. Nel 1989, la birreria a Londra ha ricevuto la Medaglia d'Oro per la qualità. In occasione dell'80° anniversario, nel 2008 è stata lanciata Cristal 1928, prodotta secondo lo stile della pilsener originale dell'inizio del XX secolo.
