Cristal Alken ist ein Pilsbier, das im Mai 1928 in Belgien von Jozef Indekeu und Edouard Boes in Alken kreiert wurde. Das Bier wird heute in der Limburgischen Brauerei von Alken gebraut. Zum Zeitpunkt der Gründung von Cristal waren viele belgische Brauer noch nicht in der Lage, Bier mituntergäriger Hefe zu produzieren, weshalb das Produkt als revolutionär gefeiert wurde. Jozef Indekeu, Edouard Boes und ihre Brauereifamilie legten damit den Grundstein für die belgische Pilsproduktion. Die Marke wuchs zur bekanntesten Pils von Limburg heran, wird aber auch weit über die Region hinaus vertrieben. 1989 erhielt die Brauerei in London die Goldmedaille für Qualität. Anlässlich des 80-jährigen Bestehens wurde 2008 Cristal 1928 eingeführt, das nach der Art des originalen Pils aus dem frühen 20. Jahrhundert gebraut wurde.
