Già nel 1108 un gruppo di ricche famiglie contadine fondò nel centro del villaggio il primo luogo di culto, che in seguito nel 1470 assunse la forma della chiesa di Nostra Signora, di cui è rimasta la parte gotica del coro. La navata centrale fu modificata nel 1776. Già nel 1712 la chiesa ricevette una facciata barocca a ovest. Nel 2004 le facciate sono state completamente ristrutturate.
