Questo moderno museo, inaugurato nel 1975 nel Dominio di Mariemont, un grande parco con arboreto, ospita una collezione di arte decorativa. La tenuta un tempo apparteneva a un castello, costruito qui nel 1546 per Maria d'Ungheria, ma nel 1794 fu distrutto dall'esercito rivoluzionario francese; le rovine sono ancora visibili. Anche una villa, costruita nel 19° secolo per la famiglia Warocqué, è ora una rovina.
