Costruito, nello stile gotico del XV secolo, tra il 1864 e il 1867, questo edificio attualmente disabitato ha servito come Palazzo di Giustizia fino al 2003, a seguito del trasferimento dei servizi giudiziari nel nuovo Centro Giudiziario situato in Place Schalbert. Dopo la liberazione del 1944, il Consiglio di Guerra del Lussemburgo si riunì qui da ottobre 1944 a maggio 1947 e pronunciò 2629 sentenze.
Sopra le finestre del secondo piano, si possono notare gli stemmi di dieci città della provincia, vale a dire: La Roche, Bouillon, Houffalize, Virton, Neufchâteau, Arlon, Marche, Bastogne, Saint-Hubert, Chiny.
Ai piedi delle scale del Palazzo di Giustizia, una targa ricorda che in questo luogo, Joséphine François, Marcel ed Edmond, una madre e i suoi due figli originari di Lenclos (Etalle) furono fucilati senza processo dai tedeschi il 22 agosto 1914.
