Sapevi che qui si trovava l'aeroporto nazionale prima di spostarsi a Zaventem? Haren ha anche ricevuto un nuovo mega carcere, che ha portato a molte proteste locali. Quel gruppo di protesta era così arrabbiato che ha chiesto l'indipendenza di Haren da Bruxelles. Ma il carcere è stato costruito.
