Schalafie è un comune nella provincia belga di Hainaut ed è una frazione del comune vallone di Celles.
Schalafie era un comune autonomo fino a quando, con la riforma comunale del 1977, fu incorporato nel comune di Celles.
Il nome Schalafie o Escanaffles deriva da Schelde o Escaut. Il suffisso significa: prato umido. A causa della rettificazione della Schelde, alcune enclavi di Schalafie si trovano sulla riva sinistra della Schelde, mentre Outrijve possiede una piccola enclave sulla riva destra.
