La chiesa di Neerlinter è dedicata a San Folliano. Secondo un documento del 1139, questa chiesa esisteva già da molto tempo. La chiesa è stata ricostruita diverse volte. A volte perché era troppo piccola, altre volte perché era bruciata (più volte) o perché una croce di ferro è crollata dal tetto. Oggi, per questo motivo, è necessario un certo lavoro di ricerca per collocare parti della chiesa in un determinato secolo.
