Il mulino ad acqua è rappresentato per la prima volta sulla mappa del misuratore di Gent Horenbault del 1592. Inizialmente si trattava di un'azienda doppia, un mulino per olio e un mulino per cereali che si trovavano ciascuno su un lato del Molenbeek. Il mulino per olio è stato abbandonato e scomparso, ma il mulino per cereali è rimasto in funzione ed è stato recentemente restaurato nella sua antica gloria. Una nuova ruota di mulino in metallo chiodata ruota nuovamente gioiosamente e spruzzante!
Presso il mulino ad acqua inizia il Molenbeekpad, un percorso didattico nella natura per bambini che si concentra sull'interazione dei diversi biotopi nella preziosa valle del torrente.
Lato strada del sito del mulino si trova la cappella di Nostra Signora delle 7 dolori, costruita nel 1866 dagli operatori del mulino.
