Senza dubbio il castello più famoso, grande e romantico del Pajottenland. È stato progettato dall'eccentrica marchesa Arconati Visconti e nel 1921 donato allo stato belga. Meno romantica è la storia dell'abitante e conte Lamoral di Egmond. La sua resistenza contro l'inquisizione spagnola non fu apprezzata: il conte fu decapitato nella Grande Piazza di Bruxelles nel 1568. Il giardino del museo e la cappella di Santa Gertrude sono sempre visitabili.
