Noi, Evi e Daniel, volevamo produrre un vino di alta qualità. Nel 2008 il nostro sogno si è finalmente avverato. Abbiamo deciso di impiantare un vigneto su un bellissimo terreno al confine tra il comune di Heers e la città di Sint-Truiden, proprio nel cuore dell'ondulato Haspengouw. Nomi locali come la Wijnberg, la Wingerd e il Wijngaerdveld sono testimoni silenziosi della gloriosa storia vinicola di questa regione.
Il sottosuolo del nostro dominio è composto da argilla, marna e ciottoli. Dopo degli studi, è emerso che fosse molto adatto per la piantagione di Chardonnay e Pinot. Ci siamo messi all'opera con impegno e abbiamo iniziato a piantare circa 3000 viti. Eravamo estremamente felici di vedere che il nostro duro lavoro stava letteralmente dando i suoi frutti: attualmente la nostra prima vendemmia sta maturando nelle cantine della nostra cantina.
