Il Fort Lapin era un forte nel nord di Bruges che fu costruito nel 1664 per proteggere il Porto Commerciale, che fu scavato nello stesso anno. Il forte è considerato parte delle Linee Spagnole-Stato, sebbene in quel momento non ci fosse più pericolo dal lato degli Stati, poiché era stata firmata la pace e i confini erano stati definiti.
