La diocesi di Hasselt è una sede della Chiesa cattolica in Belgio suffraganea dell'arcidiocesi di Malines-Bruxelles. Nel 2019 contava 635.730 battezzati su 870.880 abitanti. È retta dal vescovo Patrick Hoogmartens.La diocesi è stata eretta il 31 maggio 1967 con la bolla Qui christianorum di papa Paolo VI, ricavandone il territorio dalla diocesi di Liegi. In questo modo è stata realizzata una divisione fra le parrocchie di lingua fiamminga che sono state riunite nella nuova diocesi e quelle di lingua francese che sono rimaste nella diocesi madre.
