Il Sint-Janscollege di Meldert presso Hoegaarden è una scuola cattolica per l'Istruzione Secondaria Generale. La congregazione cattolica degli Assistenti Sociali, fondata nel 1894 a Seraing, ha avviato questo college nel 1957. Era una continuazione del "Collegio Latino", una scuola apostolica bilingue per l'istruzione secondaria a Ohain, vicino Bruxelles. Fino al 1965, la scuola di Meldert era bilingue.
