L'opera d'arte "Le vent souffle ou il veut" è un progetto dell'artista Daniel Buren. Voleva creare per Beaufort03 un'opera che suscitasse l'illusione di una foresta. Invece di piantare alberi, Buren ha ideato un progetto per cento aste di bandiera, con gallette in diverse colori. Ogni galletto inizia e finisce con un colore vivace e le strisce colorate sono alternate al bianco. La città di Nieuwpoort ha acquistato questa imponente opera e l'ha collocata alla Kromme Hoek nel porto turistico.
