Nieuwmoer è il più piccolo dei cinque nuclei abitati di Kalmthout nella provincia belga di Anversa.
Per secoli, l'estrazione di torba è stata un pilastro importante su cui si basava lo sfruttamento della regione. La torba veniva trasportata lungo i canali di torba verso Roosendaal.
Ad est di Nieuwmoer si trova la riserva naturale De Maatjes. Il proseguimento di questa in Nederland si chiama Matjens.
Nel villaggio stesso si trova la chiesa neogotica di Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Hemelvaart, costruita tra il 1844 e il 1846.
