Nieuwmoer est le plus petit des cinq noyaux villageois de Kalmthout dans la province d'Anvers en Belgique.
Pendant des siècles, l'extraction de tourbe a été un pilier important sur lequel reposait l'exploitation de la région. La tourbe était transportée par des canaux de tourbe vers Roosendaal.
À l'est de Nieuwmoer se trouve la réserve naturelle De Maatjes. Sa continuation aux Pays-Bas s'appelle Matjens.
Dans le village même se dresse l'église néo-gothique de l'Assomption de Marie, construite entre 1844 et 1846.
