Il Goor è un'area con stagni e un regolare schema di argini e canali che ricorda l'estrazione del torba durante il XVIII e XIX secolo. Le rare vegetazioni sono il risultato dei gradienti verticali su piccola scala (rabatten) e della composizione chimica del sottosuolo.
