Dal 2020 questo è diventato un CENTRO DI QUARTIERE (Steenweg 246 9810 Eke) per e dai residenti di Eke-Landuit.
La scuola del quartiere ha una storia molto lunga a Landuit. È stata costruita nel 1900 ed è stata utilizzata come scuola d'infanzia fino all'estate scorsa (2019). Ma le porte si sono chiuse irrevocabilmente a causa del numero insufficiente di alunni.
Durante una riunione sono stati già elaborati i primi piani per fare qualcosa con l'edificio vuoto. Questo edificio fa parte della storia di questo quartiere. Lasciarlo degradata o addirittura demolirlo sarebbe molto triste.
Perciò, sei residenti del quartiere hanno formato un comitato per promuovere la conservazione di questa scuola.
