Castello oggi casa di riposo. Questa proprietà apparteneva nell'11°-12° secolo all'Abbazia di San Michele, successivamente passò in mano ai privati, tra cui la famiglia Affaytadi (dal 1535 al 1807). Nel secondo quarto del 16° secolo il castello fu ricostruito, bruciato durante le razzie di Maarten van Rossem (1542, da qui il nome Verbrand Hof) e poi nuovamente ricostruito. L'edificio attuale, del 1897, è stato progettato da Alfons Van der Gucht su commissione del conte G. Agie de Selsaete.
