Il circuito di Spa-Francorchamps è considerato da molti piloti come il più bello del mondo. Nonostante i numerosi rinnovamenti, è ancora un autentico e vecchio circuito da corsa che segue le naturali ondulazioni del paesaggio.
L'Eau Rouge insieme al Raidillon è forse il tratto più famoso e noto di Francorchamps. È una splendida curva lunga subito dopo il vecchio pitlane che porta i corridori a destra verso l'alto nel bosco di conifere. Questa curva viene affrontata a pieno regime se tutto va bene.
