Già nell'11° secolo i signori della terra abitavano il allora “Hof Ten Driesche”. Nel 16° secolo il cavaliere Evrard de Coutereau trasformò la villa dei signori in un vero castello con portone e ponte levatoio. Da allora il castello ha saputo mantenere la sua vista ed è stato classificato nel 1978.
Il castello è nelle mani della famiglia van der Straten Waillet sin dall'inizio del 20° secolo. Il castello è abitato e quindi non è accessibile liberamente. Sotto la guida di una guida puoi visitare il parco del castello e la ‘Ronde Bouw’, una costruzione eccezionale. Il percorso segnalato Steenovenpad ti porterà a questo castello.
