Déjà au 11ème siècle, les seigneurs résidaient dans l'ancien "Hof Ten Driesche". Au 16ème siècle, le chevalier Evrard de Coutereau transforma la ferme seigneuriale en un véritable château avec porte et pont-levis. Depuis lors, le château a su préserver sa vue et a été classé en 1978.
Le château est entre les mains de la famille van der Straten Waillet depuis le début du 20ème siècle. Le château est habité et donc non accessible librement. Accompagné d'un guide, vous pouvez visiter le parc du château et la 'Ronde Bouw', un bâtiment exceptionnel. Le sentier balisé Steenovenpad vous conduit à ce château.
