La Mine di Beringen è un vivo ricordo del ricco passato minerario di carbone del Limburgo. Quello che in passato era una montagna di rifiuti di pietre accumulate, ora è una collina dove boschetti e spazi aperti si alternano... e la cosa migliore è che è stato creato un percorso permanente per mountain bike dove i ciclisti possono divertirsi nel percorso verde e i più esperti possono sicuramente trovare il loro posto nel percorso rosso impegnativo. Il parco MTB sulla terril di Be-Mine, noto anche come Avonturenberg, è quindi un bikepark unico. Questo rappresenta per molti amanti dell'off-road un'opportunità ciclistica ancora inesplorata.
