La Steenblockhoeve in Haesendonckstraat a Houtem (Vilvoorde) fu probabilmente fondata all'inizio del 17° secolo dall'abbazia di Ter Kameren. L'abbazia possedeva anche un'altra fattoria nelle vicinanze, il Monnikhof. Una possibile ragione per la fondazione di una seconda fattoria potrebbe essere trovata nella scomparsa del sistema di rotazione triennale, che rese l'area da coltivare troppo grande per un'unica azienda. L'attuale complesso della fattoria, a forma di U, risale al 18° secolo. I componenti liberi sono piantati attorno a un cortile pavimentato con una pozza. Il granaio fu gravemente danneggiato durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale e successivamente ricostruito. Nel 1982, la Steenblockhoeve è stata protetta come monumento.
